Swan Creek Park | December 2 and December 9
Join the community in welcoming home the spawning salmon at Swan Creek Park! With different educators for each day to teach about salmon and their conservation, community members are also invited to fill out a Salmon Challenge Bingo Card for a chance to win prizes. Bundle up and meet with community members at the Pioneer Way entrance to Swan Creek Park, 2820 Pioneer Way E.

Tacoma Armory | December 9
Black Night Market and Tacoma Arts Live present this lively market with vendors, food trucks, live music, performers, family activities, a photo booth, workshops, games, art installations and more at the Tacoma Armory at 1001 S Yakima Ave, Tacoma from 2 – 8 p.m.
Winter Solstice Celebration: Night Market
Frontier Park | December 16
Enjoy live entertainment, tasty food, and goods from local vendors at Frontier Park! Admission and parking for the Night Market are free, but those wanting to attend the candlelit Luminary Walk and solstice craft projects will need to pay a small fee. The event will be held at Frontier Park at 21714 Meridian E. in Graham from 5 – 9 p.m.
Tacoma Light Trail
Downtown Tacoma | December 31 – January 14
This winter, Downtown Tacoma is turning into a trail of light and art! Starting on December 31 with live music, circus, dancing and light art in Tollefson Plaza, this walkable and drivable trail will illuminate the streets of Downtown Tacoma each evening from 5 – 9 p.m. Check out the installation at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma!
Noon Years’ Eve Celebration
South Hill Library | December 31
Join South Hill Library at 15420 Meridian East in South Hill from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. as they ring in the New Year with crafts, stories, and music, all before noon!
