This community winter light festival lasts almost half of the entire month! Each evening from 5 – 9 p.m., bundle up and join your neighbors for parades throughout the heart of Downtown Tacoma.

As part of the Tacoma Light Trail, Downtown On The Go will be hosting an illuminated bicycle ride through Downtown Tacoma to get a great look at all of the beautiful art. The group will gather and decorate bikes with festive lights starting at 6 p.m. at 1201 Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. Riders are asked to sign the waiver that you can find by clicking on the image. Don’t forget your helmet!

Enjoy music and dancing in Courthouse Square’s historic ballroom as it is lit by a magical light show. The event will be taking place at Courthouse Square on 1102 A St in Tacoma on the 4th floor at 6 – 9 p.m.

The Washington State History Museum and Tacoma Arts Live will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with performances at the Museum at 1911 Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. The entire event lasts from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., with performances at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
