ELO Operations Coordinator

The Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Operations Coordinator helps connect children, youth, and families in Pierce County to caring adults and youth development professionals who offer high-quality, culturally responsive, play-based, and enriching expanded learning opportunities throughout the year. Under guidance from the Associate Director of Youth Learning, this role coordinates community provider sourcing, resources that support ELO providers, and program expansion.

  • Reports to: Associate Director of Youth Learning.

  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week).

  • FLSA Status: Hourly, Overtime Non-exempt.

Compensation

$22.00 – $25.50 per hour.

Duties

Administration and Logistics (80%):

  • Facilitate ELO provider and community partner readiness process that includes, but is not limited to documentation of background checks, insurance, W-9s, MOUs, and mandatory training.
  • Schedule provider offerings within the overall system taking into consideration provider availability, funding streams, site-specific considerations, etc. in collaboration with other system partners; to include academic year and summer programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and program data to ensure organization, transparency, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Prepare regular program and status reports, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to optimize volunteer engagement opportunities within ELO programs.
  • Support the Associate Director of Youth Learning and Chief Learning Experiences Officer to create the annual ELO budget.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and coordination, like Greentrike events, as needed.
  • Represent Greentrike at community events to foster new collaborative opportunities and nurture strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Strategic Planning and Program Assessment (20%):

  • Support ongoing professional development initiatives for community providers to promote continuous program quality improvement.
  • Partner with the Planning and Evaluation Department to collect and analyze feedback from community partners to assess program success.
