Play Time for the Whole Family

Play to Learn is a free program for children and adults to play together! Now offered at community locations throughout Pierce County.

Play to Learn is for parents, grandparents, neighbors, family, and friends who nurture children ages six and under. Thematic curriculum invites individual play, fun group activities, songs, and a whole group circle time for children and adults to enjoy together.

No sessions are available for the following Dates:

April 19, May 29, and June 2

Play to Learn Classes

Available Play to Learn Sessions are listed below. Sessions are drop-in with check-in at the door. Pre-registration is no longer required.

Summer Session Availability

Classes on May 29 to June 2, and June 5 to 9 will only be available in Tacoma locations (APCC, Bryant Neighborhood Center, Salishan Family Investment Center, Henry T. Schatz Boy’s and Girl’s Club)

    10-11:30 a.m. | 1:30-3 p.m.

Wednesday

  • ASAPC (Inclusive Play to Learn)
    10-11:30 a.m. (registration required)
  • Salishan Family Investment Center
    10-11:30 a.m.

Thursday

  • Boys and Girls Club Henry T Schatz
    10-11:30 a.m.
  • Tacoma Public Library: Swasey Library
    10-11:30 a.m. | 1:30-3 p.m.

Friday

  • Children’s Museum at JBLM
    10-11:30 a.m.
  • Asia Pacific Cultural Center
    10-11:30 a.m.
