Greentrike Opens the Monarch Diaper Bank at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma

On August 17, 2023, Greentrike will launch the Monarch Diaper Bank at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma. The Monarch Diaper Bank provides free diapering supplies for families to pick up at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma during operational hours on Thursdays and Saturdays. Closed for Juneteenth

The Children’s Museums of Tacoma and at JBLM will be closed on Monday, June 19, in recognition of the national holiday Juneteenth. Children’s Museum of Tacoma Dedicates Pay As You Will Day to Way Out Kids

On Thursday, April 6, 2023, Greentrike is dedicating Pay As You Will (PAYW) admission at the Children's Museum of Tacoma to support WayOut Kids (WOK) and their Tacoma Juneteenth Celebration. The day falls during Spring Break week for Tacoma students, bringing in more traffic to the Museum than on regular admission days. Children’s Museum of Tacoma Showcases Glass Art Designed by Children

Beginning Thursday, March 22, Greentrike and the Museum of Glass (MOG) will partner to bring a collection of glass art designed by children to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma. The temporary exhibition features artwork from MOG’s ongoing program Kids Design Glass. 2022 Back to School Festival Features Live Performances and Free Backpacks for Students

The Greentrike Back to School Festival returns on August 31 for its second year in downtown Tacoma, centrally located in Tollefson Plaza. The Festival is Pierce County’s most playful event celebrating the return to school for students in grades pre-K to 12. Water Refresh Adds More Play

The Children’s Museum of Tacoma is renewing Water to add more play to the family-favorite playscape. Greentrike, the nonprofit organization that powers the Museum, is partnering with Pacific Studio to revitalize Water with new materials and structures, including an Archimedes Screw and a Vortex with a clear 360-degree view. Mask Policy Updates (March 12, 2022)

Greentrike Masking Policy for Museums and Programs (Updated Monday 03.14.2022 with new mask guidelines for JBLM) The Washington State Department of Health announced updated indoor masking guidelines starting Saturday, March 12. Greentrike Partners to Raise Funds for an International Campaign Helping Children Improve Reading Comprehension
