Expanded Learning Opportunities powered by Greentrike OSTI

Plug into Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) for learning and enrichment programming like visual and performing arts, dance, robotics, STEM, mentorship, and more.  These programs take place before, during, and after school. ELO programs provide a safe place for students to learn new skills, find their spark and voice, build positive relationships, and connect with their community and peers.

When you register, you will see three payment options per session. If you are not sure what your family is qualified for please select what you have qualified for in the past or select the best option based on your family’s current need.

  • $96 per activity
  • Qualify for Reduced-priced Lunch: $48 per activity
  • Qualify for Free Lunch: $0 per activity

The actual cost per activity is about $320. Discounted rates are offered thanks to Tacoma Creates, private philanthropy, City of Tacoma, Pierce County, Greentrike, Metro Parks Tacoma, Tacoma Public Schools and individual donors — leveraging resources to help reduce fees for ALL Tacoma families.

Every dollar paid goes directly to the Beyond the Bell program, helping make activities more affordable and accessible for every child. Cost should never be a barrier for any family, so further fee waiver assistance/scholarships are available to help. Call Metro Parks Tacoma at 253-305-1030 for additional information.
