Now at the Children’s Museums of Tacoma and at JBLM: in honor of Black History Month, we’ve expanded our “Inspired By…” studio installation to focus on famous black artists! Families are invited to experiment with abstract painting while learning about Alma Thomas, explore self expression in the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat, create geometric collage pieces inspired by the incredible quiltmakers of Gee’s Bend, and more starting the week of February 10.
