Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month with us at this hands-on family workshop that honors storytelling of self through symbolic, siapo-inspired collage artwork! Children
will use visual elements inspired by traditional Polynesian tapa patterns to tell their own story and create a personal “cloth” made up of shapes that they identify with. Activities will be presented by friends from Pepe Faitau Books, the First Samoan Board Book Company, including illustrator Dalcetta Palepale.
No pre-registration is required, and admission is Pay As You Will.
