The POP Events are going virtual! Mark your calendars for the last
week of September as we celebrate the power of play from home.
All proceeds from the POP Events support accessible Greentrike
programming such as Pay As You Will Admission and Play to
Learn Pierce County. Providing quality, free playful experiences
to the children in our community is at the heart of Greentrike’s
mission to honor children and champion play. Join us!
How can our community provide high quality, playful learning experiences for the children in our community? Speakers include City of Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards, Greentrike Executive Director Tanya Durand, and Foundation for Tacoma Students Executive Director Tafona Ervin.
Our world could use some peace right now. Teacher Cheryl of the Play to Learn program and Kwabi Amoah-Forson from the Peace Bus (https://www.thepeacebus.org/) will engage in a child friendly conversation about peace and play.
Pierce County, and the state as a whole, is experiencing a childcare crisis. Day 3 of the Power of Play Lunch includes a conversation about childcare with Tanya Durand and special guest.
A special thank you to our sponsors:
